Okay before I start my rant here two things about me.  My girlfriend and I have 5 children combined so I'm family oriented and I'm customer service oriented.  Two reason I have no desire to ever visit Webster Bank Arena or go to a Fairfield basketball game again.  


When we arrived with 3 of our children in tow I asked one of the security guards where to pick up our will call tickets we had ordered through ticketmaster 3 weeks ago.  I was pointed into a room where we went and waiting in line.  Basically it was a closet with 40 people.  When we got to the front of the line I was told I was in the wrong line and sent out to the box office.  The box office is 5 huge lines outside in the cold with a bunch of drunk college kids.  We were off to a very bad start.  


We finally got to our seats which were front row which was great for the kids.  The arena is clearly a hockey arena first but is servicable for basketball.  Unfortunately security was minimal and there were drunk college kids yelling obscenities right next to the kids all night.  Basically if you wanna go be a drunk moron this is the place for you.  If you want a night out with the family stay away.  It's a shame because Fairfield has built a quality basketball program but based on the venue/crowd/presentation I think they've peaked.  


Highlight of my night was a t-shirt that said "fear the deer".  Fairfields mascot is a stag (male deer).
